Meet the Hemp Tabi Sock. 

Made in Nara Prefecture, Japan by family run Sugiyama Knit Industry that has been crafting socks since 1965. What sets them apart isn't just tradition — it's their custom-modified machines, rebuilt in-house over decades to produce a sock that no standard equipment can replicate.

Their method is unhurried: each sock is knitted oversized, then steam-finished down to its precise shape — creating a denser weave, superior durability, and a fit that holds its form wash after wash. The hemp and cotton blend is then adjusted stitch by stitch, the knitting speed calibrated to the fibre itself.

55% hemp, 45% cotton — naturally breathable, naturally antimicrobial, shaped to the foot with a traditional split-toe design.

Available in sizes up to 31cm foot length.
